Here I will provide updates on “new happenings”

January 8, 2024:

Hello!

It has been quite some time since my last update.  Things are still going along well here at MelCorp.  We welcome the occasional follow-up e-mail from MMF users letting us know how things are going!

The reason for this post is to inform future customers that we will be transitioning to “all white” MMF parts.  We really do not want to do this , as well like to colored, but rising costs over the past few years have had to make us take a DEEP look at expenses.

We have not raised prices in a while and wish to avoid that!

So, the first (and easiest) thing to do is to just get parts printed as “all white” as adding the various colors increase the cost of production.

It is not possible to pass on those savings to the customer as we have been absorbing slow and steady increases in various areas (Web Hosting, Domain name, PO box, supplies).

We will likely add some minor “sharpie marker” color dots to the standard rings (blue) and expansion rings (green) as they are often referre dtoas blue or green rings.

We hope this doe snot cause confusion or frustration.

We are always trying to do our best to keep costs down.

September 27, 2022:

I am still quite humbled by the response (and feedback) I have been getting regarding the MMF!

Indeed, there is a learning curve for installation and it may not be for everyone, but my hope is that it helps some of you attain your restoration goals!

This current “status update” is linked to the most previous one (as below) as it is related to the “Self-Service” option for ordering MMF parts directly from the 3D Print vendor.

Sadly, upon deep reflection and reviewing my experiences over the past ~1 year regarding international orders (mainly only to Canada, as I have not shipped outside of the continental US for quite sometime), I will no longer be able to, personally, process non-domestic  (non-USA) orders for the MMF.

I reluctantly arrive at this place – as I had hoped to always fill orders for those living in Canada.

However, due to:

  1. the extra paperwork (re: customs) involved and the time it takes for clerks at my local post office to enter all the associated information, its just slows down my day (I often go to PO on my lunch hour).
  2. the ever-present and real issue associated with fitment concerns and the costs incurred by both myself and the customer for exchanging of parts (could amount to ~$40 in total) if the first set off MMF rings do not fit properly
  3. the cost of shipping international (~$20)
  4. the availability of the rather efficient and useful “Self-Service” option  [see link Self-Service: International and Domestic Orders (linked)]

I have decided that I can no longer process any kind of international order.

HOWEVER, if you wish to order directly through the 3D Print vendor, please reach ourt to me so I can be certain your order the parts you need and that that system has the proper parts available.  I am slowly adding to that offering, so, if you do not see something you need, please touch base (metamorefore@gmail.com).

I am sure that this is a disappointment to some, and for that I am sorry.  However, the only way I can continue to offer the MMF is to streamline things as best as possible — since regular work and family obligations are my priorities.

March 16, 2022:

WOW – it has been a busy few months here at MelCorp!

With the launching of the Shop, we really have been humbled by the response!  Our only hope is that all the MMF-ers are finding the MMF to be useful!

We have struggled with keeping up on inventory (often times we have had to put items “out of stock” and we appreciate your patience!); we strive for a MAX of 2wks between arrival an an order and shipping.

The only significant “update” is that we have finished a “Self-Service” option to order MMF packages/parts directly from the 3D Print Vendor.  This really may only be of interest to Internarial Customers, however, due to a slight reduction in costs (since there is some fabrication on your end, cutting/sanding), prices are someone reduced.  Also, there is a “no-frills” (all white) option which is even a further cost savings.  So, this might be of interest to some on a budget!  See links below.

December 24, 2021:

What is new?  EVERYTHING!

First and foremost, the SHOP (linked) is ready to open will be GO LIVE on Jan 1, 2022!

But there are so many other updates that I really cannot list them all, but I will try!

  • Shop (linked) is opened are ready for “‘click, add to cart, BUY” [LOOK FOR THE COUPON CODE!]
  • I have a purchase option for International (linked) customers (via the 3D print vendor)
  • I’ve added pages (within the MMF website) that show images of the MMF in use (linked)
  • I have updated all the pictures on the website, showing the current Gen2 MMF
  • I’ve added a VERY important page regarding pre-determining fitment (linked)
  • I’ve added a “hacks” page [Hacks (MMF hacks!); linked] shows a few ways others have made DYI adjustments to the MMF system

This has ALL been a VERY long time coming, so, I appreciate your patience!

November 19, 2021:

Wow, it’s been a few years since I have updated things here – sorry about that!

I’ll cut to the chase!

  1. >> I am really trying (with my webmaster) to get the shop up and running.  However, at present (and sadly) orders will still be by e-mail, metamorefore@gmail.com.  The main reason for this VERY extended delay in setting up the shop is that ~1/10 guys find that the standard MMF is either too small or too big for them.  I have hoped to figure out a good way to “pre-determine” why this was (what measurements help?).  However, it really is a mystery (it is not a girth issue) and may simply be a function of how thick the restorer’s skin is.   For those who do have issues, I work diligently to get things resolved (I have adapters and a larger set).  But returns of standard sets that are too small is VERY complicated — as items are slightly used (though I always work things out).  So, this is why I have shied away from setting up a click and add to cart shopping option.  But, it seems that I may NEVER figure this out, so, it is just time to bite the bullet.  Pls stay tuned.
  2. >> When  I first made this website, I had hoped to keep any candid photos (and videos) external (and password protected), as I felt it was important to restrict access (from those who were not 18 or older) to these types of images.   Back then, I uploaded a few videos to a Vimeo acct.  This indeed helped, but, I think it resulted in a “…barrier to access…” for a large majority of people – no interest in navigating out of the website; I’ve heard comments that people “…would like to see the MMF being worn…” (The Vimeo acct has such pics).  In any event, I have decided to include herein (in the confines of the MMF website) a page that does have such images of the MMF being worn, though the page is still password protected.  They can be found at the bottom of MetaMoreFore –  Installation and Use (linked).

I hope the above update brings a bit of clarity to the apparent (and very real) slow rollout of the MMF foreskin restoration system.  This is a side gig for me, so, I do the best I can balancing my time between filling orders, e-mail correspondence and website management.

November 25, 2018:

Over the past few months there have been only minor advances in the MMF (mainly just trying to fill orders and build an inventory – though I had spent a good amount of time on redoing the DILE).  However, in early Nov i started getting a lot of inquires about possible orders.  As good as this was, it came at a bad time since the 3d print vendor changed prices (dramatic increase) and i was uncertain how to move forward.   I did have to embrace the idea of producing an “all white” version (so as to help offset some of the price increase).  However, that was only a temporary change as I have been able to find a “work around” to the price increase (having parts printed in sets with a plastic material holding them together — like a kids model).  I am hopeful that this solved the issue re: price increase).

June 23, 2018:

It has been a very busy few months for me (and the MMF!).

I have gotten lots of feedback from a number of users and have made some minor, but very useful design edits.

Once I have worked through them all, I will update pics on the website accordingly.

A couple changes are:

  • different sized plugs
  • rings that have “void” spaces (this cuts down on costs but does NOT change functionality)
  • expansion rings (green) with “friendlier” leading edges (i.e., more smoothed out for easier installation)

I am also trying very hard to build a useful inventory so i can open the SHOP but it is difficult to stay on top of current orders.

Please know that this is mostly a one-man-show (but i do have help from a webmaster), so, progress on admin type things (updates/resigns of website) will be slow coming.

WELCOME!

At present (March10, 2018) — THIS IS ALL NEW!

At present, I am only filling orders through e-mail requests as I am stilling working on the Shop area of this website.

Please know that as I work through the release of the MetaMoreFore (and development of this web-page) that there will most certainly be some “growing pains.”  I have been involved with restoration and the foreskin restoration community for about 20 years.  “Mel” has a reputation — and I hope it is a “good one.”  I plan to keep it that way, so, when I say I will resolve any issues/problems that arise from these “growing pains” – please, know that I will!
