Self-Service: Direct Ordering From 3D Print Vendor

Due to international (outside the US) interest in the MMF and occasional backlogs (on my end) due to an unexpected increase in orders and associated impacts on inventory, I have decided that it makes sense to make the below option available to whomever might want to pursue it (international or US).

Below I describe how to place your own “Self-Service” order of MMF parts directly from the 3D Print Vendor. You should be aware that any order you place using the below approach is 100% outside of my control (in terms of shipping, sizing issues, etc) and, as such, are 100% FINAL SALES (between you and the 3D Print Vendor).

Because of this, I encourage anyone placing an order through this system to TRIPLE CHECK sizing using the below link. When trying this approach (the scotch tape ring), if you can easily move this ring along the length (up/down) of your “skin tube” the standard, 23mm sized rings “should” work for you. If the scotch tape ring is too tight, or you have difficulty moving it along your skin tube, the large, 27mm size is a better option. But again, there is no guarantee, so, be aware of this.

I also encourage you to drop me an e-mail (Mel, metamorefore@gmail.com) to confirm that the items you wish to purchase (as listed in the SHOP, here on this website) are indeed available at the 3D Print Vendor; at present the 3D Print Vendor has a limited selection.

Many of the MMF parts available through the 3D Print Vendor come all attached as “one part” (attached to a plastic matrix) and you have to some fabrication on your end. The below link describes this process.

Because of the “self-service” aspects of this approach to ordering MMF parts, various costs on my end have been removed from the overall price structure and you will notice slight reductions on pricing in the 3D Print Vendor, as compared to the MMF Shop (here on this website). Also, you will notice that there are “no-frills” (all white) packages at the 3D Print Vendor. These have even a further price reduction (as compared with packages listed here at the MMF) as printing them in all “all white” is less expensive.

With that, below are instructions on how to order MMF parts directly from the 3D Print Vendor! If you have any questions/problems, please reach out to me and I will try to help as best as I can.
